Dozier Elementary School
Who We Are

Dozier Elementary, home of the Ducks, is a vibrant and growing learning community in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
We serve students in grades Pre-K through 5 in a safe and welcoming environment where relationships and student success are at the center of everything we do. As a Title I campus, we are proud to support a diverse student population through individualized instruction, positive school culture, and strong family partnerships.
Our Mission
At Dozier Elementary, we are committed to inspiring a love of learning by creating a nurturing environment that builds strong relationships, supports individual growth, and prepares every student for success. We strive each day to build relationships, nurture growth, and inspire success—the heart of what it means to be a Dozier Duck.

Every student. Unique. Limitless.

Our History
Dozier Elementary opened in 2016 and is the second-largest elementary school in EMS ISD, with a 92,000 sq. ft. facility serving over 700 students. The school is named in honor of the original Dozier one-room schoolhouse, built in 1883 on Dozier Creek near the present site. The land for the original Dozier School was donated by the Boswell family—namesakes of Boswell Road and Boswell High School—linking Dozier Elementary to the historic roots of the community it serves.
