Who We Are
Dozier Elementary, home of the Ducks, is a vibrant and growing learning community in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.
We serve students in grades Pre-K through 5 in a safe and welcoming environment where relationships and student success are at the center of everything we do. As a Title I campus, we are proud to support a diverse student population through individualized instruction, positive school culture, and strong family partnerships.

Our programs and culture reflect a commitment to both academic growth and strong community involvement. Highlights include:
- Weekly instruction in music, art, computers, library, and PE
- Student opportunities in UIL, Spelling Bee, Honor Choir, GT, Art Show, and musical performances
- WIN (What I Need) time for targeted academic support and enrichment
- Ongoing communication through Remind, newsletters, Skyward, and Facebook
- Family engagement through PTA events and the Watch D.O.G.S. volunteer program
Our History
Dozier Elementary opened in 2016 and is the second-largest elementary school in EMS ISD, with a 92,000 sq. ft. facility serving over 700 students. The school is named in honor of the original Dozier one-room schoolhouse, built in 1883 on Dozier Creek near the present site. The land for the original Dozier School was donated by the Boswell family—namesakes of Boswell Road and Boswell High School—linking Dozier Elementary to the historic roots of the community it serves.
The Community We Serve
We serve students living in the Stone Creek Ranch and Trails of Marine Creek neighborhoods, as well as portions of Marine Creek Hills and Marine Creek Ranch. Dozier Elementary works closely with our feeder schools to support students throughout their academic journey.
Our feeder campuses include:
- Ed Willkie Middle School
- Chisholm Trail High School
Together, we are helping Ducks grow into lifelong learners, leaders, and community contributors.
